Dear Fellow Opera Lover,

It is with great sadness that we announce that THE OPERA THEATER OF LAKELAND will not present
our final performance of the season on Saturday June 27, 2009.
We would like to thank the Subscribers for all their support of our endeavors.
The economy has taken its toll on all of us and we must regroup to emerge stronger and more viable in
future.

At this juncture we are working closely with the Polk Theatre and various other organizations, artists and
our Technical Staff on moving the dates for the season finale to the end of July. We have some exciting
plans to conclude this first season which will be shared as soon as all details are firmed up. Your current
tickets, of coure, will be valid for this performance.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding and

In closing we would again like to thank you for attending our performances and embracing our company
and its artists in the short time we have spent with you. I hope that this is not farewell, but until we meet
